ABOUT PI-ENVEX EXHIBITIONS

Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) has made a significant impact in organizing research and innovation competitions at both school and university levels through the ‘International Engineering Invention And Innovation Exhibition (i-ENVEX) which began in 2009.

In 2020, the i-ENVEX competition has enhanced the image of Perlis by renaming the competition to ‘Perlis International Engineering Invention And Innovation Exhibition’ (Pi-ENVEX).

The competition provides exposure and encourage young researchers to engage in research and innovation fields, empowering their abilities and creations in science and engineering to higher platforms, thus encouraging them to create their own career opportunities through commercialized products marketed in the industry.

In 2024, the Student Development and Services Center (P3P) in collaboration with the Center of Excellence Geopolymer and Green Technology (CEGeoGTech) will organize Pi-ENVEX 2024.

• The participation of foreign countries is expected with 15 countries joining the Pi-ENVEX 2024 competition, including Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan, the Philippines, Romania, Australia, and many more.
• Encouraging the culture of research and innovation among university, secondary, and primary school students in Malaysia through their participation in this competition.
• SDGs: This proposal also contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as follows:

SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals)
